Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM); potential for 4x10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care across all areas of the surgery department including Pre-Op, Post-Op, Circulating, PACU, and Endoscopy
- Float between units based on departmental needs within the surgical services area
- Perform circulating duties across a 2-room OR covering specialties including OB/GYN, Orthopedics, GI/General Surgery, ENT, Pain, and Dental
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:4 depending on unit assignment
- Participate in on-call rotation including variable call on weekends and nights, approximately 8 shifts per month
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
- Valid Montana RN license or active Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of perioperative or operating room nursing experience
- Ability and willingness to float within the facility as needed
- Availability for every 3rd or 4th weekend rotation depending on scheduling and time-off requests
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of initial submittal; post-submission RTO may not be approved
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Familiarity with multiple surgical specialties including Orthopedics, OB/GYN, or Endoscopy
- Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting
