Travel Certified Surgical Technologist – CVOR

Schedule / Job Type
Contract – Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for cardiovascular surgical procedures?
- Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures
- Ensure proper handling, counting, and documentation of surgical instruments and sponges
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain patient safety and optimal OR efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Active CST certification through the NBSTSA (NCCT certification not accepted in lieu of NBSTSA)
- Minimum of 1 year of surgical technologist experience
- Experience in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment
- Ability to work 4x10-hour day shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience in a surgical or CVOR setting
- Familiarity with a high-volume or acute care cardiovascular surgical program
