Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and nebulized medications to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.
• Set up, operate, and monitor mechanical ventilators and perform associated critical care duties.
• Perform arterial punctures for blood gas analysis and manage oxygen delivery methods across varying patient age groups.
• Document all patient care data accurately in the electronic health record, departmental forms, and logbooks.
• Coordinate patient care across departments and disciplines, ensuring patient needs are met and policies are followed.
• Participate in performance improvement activities, continuing education, and department meetings to maintain professional competency.

Required Qualifications

• NICU experience required.
• Active Montana Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist Certification (NBRC).
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification in Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist (NBRC-NPS).
• Certification in Adult Critical Care Specialist (NBRC-ACCS).
• Experience with electronic health record systems and related computer applications.
