Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with an average daily census of 21 patients
• Perform and manage IV therapy, peripheral line care, PICC line management, and blood product administration
• Adhere to and implement isolation precautions per facility and unit protocols
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health record system
• Float within the department or to affiliate units as needed to meet facility staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license in hand at time of submission, or actively in the application process with an estimated timeline to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical RN experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross only; RQI cards not accepted)
• Proficiency in IV therapy, phlebotomy, peripheral line care, PICC line management, and blood product administration
• Experience with isolation precautions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience charting in Cerner
• Prior travel nursing experience with ability to adapt quickly to new facility environments
