Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM weekdays; 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM every 3rd weekend)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sterile processing functions within a Surgical Services department at a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment
• Maintain compliance with sterile processing standards and facility protocols
• Document and chart accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in weekend rotation approximately every 3rd weekend

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of travel experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
• Valid sterile processing certification or applicable allied health credential
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule (approximately every 3rd weekend)
• Experienced travelers only — no new-to-travel candidates considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a trauma center or acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with Surgical Services department workflows and instrument management
