Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Urology)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Urology unit serving surgical and non-surgical patients, as well as nephrology, benign hematology, and general medical-surgical populations
• Manage an estimated patient ratio of 1:4–5 throughout the night shift
• Perform telemetry monitoring and intermediate-level nursing care as required by patient acuity
• Initiate and manage IV access for assigned patients
• Float to other units within the organization as needed to support staffing demands

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and intermediate nursing care
• Active experience with Epic electronic health records
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Background in urology, nephrology, or hematology patient populations
