Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-Hour Shifts) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with a focus on neurological patient populations, including stroke, neurosurgical (spine, cranial, and ENT), and seizure patients
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other Medical/Surgical units as needed
• Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC charting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neurological patient populations, including stroke and neurosurgical care
• Familiarity with caring for spine, cranial, ENT, and seizure patient populations
