Job Title
• Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients receiving chemotherapy treatments
• Manage IV infusions, port access, and central line care
• Handle cytotoxic spill management and ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials
• Recognize and communicate abnormal laboratory values
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Ensure compliance with all safety and clinical protocols

Required Qualifications
• Active Illinois RN license or in the application process
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience as a registered nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Extra certifications are a plus
• Chemotherapy certification preferred (on-site training available if needed)
• Knowledge of chemotherapy administration, IV therapy, and bedside procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in an acute care, Level I trauma hospital environment
• Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic medical records systems
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
