Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 31-bed Medical-Surgical unit with a concentration in general surgery, urology, gynecology, and bariatric surgery
- Manage a patient assignment of up to 1:6 ratio
- Perform and assist with voiding trials and urogynecological surgical care
- Care for patients undergoing bariatric surgery, thyroidectomy, bowel obstruction management, and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
- Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required
- Participate in holiday coverage, working a minimum of 2 out of 3 major holidays
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand prior to start date
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with bariatric surgery, thyroidectomy, bowel obstruction, and CBI
- Graduation from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE
- Willingness and ability to float within the hospital system as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with voiding trials and/or urogynecological surgeries
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with urology and gynecology patient populations
