Contract | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | No Weekends | No Holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient infusion clinic setting
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor and assess patients receiving treatment for GU cancers, hematologic malignancies, and sarcoma
- Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using EPIC
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure continuity of care
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an outpatient clinic or infusion setting
- Current BLS certification
- Chemotherapy certification through ONS or ONCC required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for patients with GU cancers, hematologic conditions (lymphoma, multiple myeloma, CLL), or sarcoma
- Prior travel nursing experience in an outpatient or infusion oncology environment
