Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts with Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical and acute care patients utilizing the nursing process
• Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care using specialized knowledge of acute and chronic disease states
• Support an Acute Care/Observation Unit experiencing increased census related to orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute and chronic illnesses
• Provide Intermediate Care coverage in the CCU as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation, taking one call shift per two-week period as required based on staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado
• Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Flu vaccination required (mandatory, no declinations accepted) from the current flu season, applicable October 1 through April 1

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 3 years of RN Med-Surg experience preferred
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and intermediate care patient populations
