Contract | 12-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3 shifts per week | Every 3rd weekend required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Perform wound care, line insertion, and blood and antibiotic administration
- Utilize FIM and CARE Tool measures to assess and document patient functional status
- Conduct goal setting with patients, hourly rounding, and bedside shift report
- Document patient care using Meditech 5.6 electronic health records system
- Float to like units per facility policy when required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including Med/Surg experience
- Current BLS certification
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation nursing experience
- Familiarity with FIM and CARE Tool measures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech 5.6 documentation system
- Familiarity with Sara Steady lift, Hoyer lift, and Alaris Pump equipment
- Experience with patient-centered rehabilitation care models and goal-setting frameworks
