Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
• Assist with cardiac and thoracic procedures as the primary case focus
• Support vascular procedures including open and endovascular cases
• Participate in transplant procedures (liver, kidney, pancreas) and pancreatic (Whipple) procedures as needed
• Fulfill on-call requirements per unit policy, including weekday and weekend call shifts on a rotating basis
• Float within the surgical service line to meet facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Missouri or applicable compact license); pending Missouri license accepted at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required; 1 year considered if from a Level 1 Trauma facility
• Demonstrated scrub and circulate experience in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required (must be obtained by compliance deadline)
• Candidate's home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred
• Experience in a short-term acute care or Level 1 Trauma teaching facility
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
