Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 7:00–16:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Rehabilitation unit with an average daily census of 10 patients across 14 beds
- Float as needed to Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic units within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities
- Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
- Be available for on-call shifts depending on patient census
- Complete required facility onboarding modules prior to start and annually thereafter
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid California RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
- Willingness to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities
- Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Background in Rehabilitation, Medical-Surgical, or Orthopedic nursing
