Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic unit during night shift hours
- Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
- Float to like units based on skill set and demonstrated competencies as census needs require
- Provide weekend coverage on a rotating every-other-weekend basis, subject to change based on unit need
- Complete required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials prior to contract start
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a valid multistate compact license
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in orthopedic nursing
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Must not be a first-time traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in both teaching and community hospital settings
- Familiarity with orthopedic patient populations across varied acuity levels
