Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Assist with and monitor bedside procedures including dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage
- Care for post-heart catheterization patients in accordance with unit protocols
- Float to similar units within the health system as needed based on census demands
- Complete required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving system access
- Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis, with scheduling subject to change based on unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
- Minimum of 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency with Omnicell medication dispensing system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience; first-time travelers may be considered based on overall experience
- Familiarity with post-procedural cardiac patient care and telemetry monitoring
