Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Weekdays and some weekends, rotating holidays | On-call required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit with an estimated 1:3 patient ratio
• Perform IV insertions and manage peripheral and central line access
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and respond to changes in patient condition
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Rotate within units of equivalent or lower acuity level as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PCU/Stepdown experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Valid RN compact or state license in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency with IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with high-acuity stepdown environments and multi-system patient management
