Physical Therapist – Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-hour shifts, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to patients in a hospital-based acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional goals
• Document patient progress and clinical notes using Epic electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver comprehensive rehabilitation care
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Participate in holiday coverage as needed and be aware of potential emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist License required at the start of the contract
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation or hospital-based setting
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
