Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with On-Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and established standards of care
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging studies
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring proper calibration and quality control
- Evaluate and process image data, ensuring diagnostic quality prior to physician interpretation
- Participate in on-call rotation as required to support departmental coverage needs
- Document procedures accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Current NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Current state licensure or eligibility to practice in Georgia
- BLS certification required
- Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as part of the position requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Familiarity with a high-volume, full-service hospital environment
- Experience with a broad range of nuclear medicine imaging modalities and procedures
