Direct Hire | Full-Time | Days | 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub into and assist with 20–25 orthopedic surgical cases per day, including total joint replacements (hip, knee, shoulder), arthroscopies, hand, pediatric, trauma, and fracture procedures.

• Perform scrubbing duties as the primary surgical technologist, ensuring proper instrumentation and sterile field maintenance throughout each case.

• Utilize printed preference cards to prepare for cases; occasional use of EMR system as needed.

• Participate in a call rotation, including 1–2 weeknight call shifts per week (Monday–Friday), one weekend per month (Friday end of shift through Monday morning), and holiday call as needed, with a 30-minute response time.

• Float to other OR service lines (e.g., General, Pediatric, Neuro, Cardiac) on an occasional basis, most commonly as a second scrub or retractor holder.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.

• Some orthopedic surgical experience is required.

• Graduate of an Associate's Degree Surgical Technologist Program or equivalent military surgical training.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Ability to scrub independently and maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with total joint procedures including hip, knee, and shoulder replacements.

• Familiarity with arthroscopic procedures across multiple joints (knee, shoulder, hip, wrist).

• Exposure to pediatric or trauma orthopedic cases.
