Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–19:30) | On-call rotation and every other weekend required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide intermittent hemodialysis (IHD) services to stable patients in a dedicated dialysis unit as well as bedside hemodialysis for ICU patients unable to travel
• Connect and disconnect patients from peritoneal dialysis treatment
• Operate Fresenius hemodialysis machines; full orientation to equipment provided
• Participate in on-call rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Collaborate with ICU nursing staff regarding patient care needs, noting that CRRT therapy is managed separately by ICU nurses

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of permanent, recent Dialysis RN experience
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission (Compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification (no pending status)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification (no pending status)
• Two professional references from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the Dialysis specialty from assignments worked within the past 12 months
• No open licensing actions or open background check findings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Dialysis experience within a single location preferred, though experience across multiple locations will be considered
• Prior experience with Fresenius hemodialysis machines
• Familiarity with bedside IHD in an ICU setting
