Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Oncology unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:5–6, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout the night shift
- Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using EPIC electronic health records
- Fulfill weekend rotation requirements, which may include Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday shifts on a rotating basis
- Float within service line as needed to meet facility staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Missouri or applicable compact license required; pending Missouri license submissions accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Fire Safety certification required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Background in Medical/Surgical and/or Oncology patient populations
- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
- First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
