Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple ICU settings including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac/Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID units
• Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio in ICU settings across all shifts
• Float to inpatient non-critical care floors when ICU census is low, with a maximum ratio of 1:3
• Provide care across Oncology, Neurology, Med Surg, Medicine, Trauma, Heart and Vascular, and COVID inpatient units as assigned
• Fulfill every-other-weekend requirement with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, plus holiday rotation
• Document and chart using EPIC electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, plus at least 1 year of Cardiovascular ICU (CV ICU) experience
• Active RN license in MO or a qualifying compact state (must match permanent residence)
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Proficiency with ventilator management, IV insertion, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation
• Must be an experienced traveler — first-time travelers will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac skill set including Swan-Ganz/hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, vasoactive drips, and CRRT
• Experience with triage, ICP monitoring, PA lines, and Level 1 Trauma
• Certifications such as CCRN, ONS, Chemo, TNCC, or CPI
• Prior experience with EPIC electronic health records
