Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as a Dialysis Technician in a clinical setting
- Operate and monitor dialysis equipment throughout patient treatments
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records using EPIC EMR
- Adhere to all facility protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures
- Float to additional campuses as needed based on staffing requirements
- Maintain flexibility with scheduling, including availability Monday through Sunday with no block schedules
Required Qualifications
- Active AHA BLS certification required
- CCHT (Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of dialysis technician experience
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required and non-negotiable)
- Must have reliable personal transportation — public transportation is not accessible in this area; all-season or snow tires recommended November through April
- All employment gaps exceeding 90 days must be explained; complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type is required for submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CNN (Certified Nephrology Nurse) or CBN (Certified Biomedical Nephrology Technician) certification preferred
- Prior travel assignment experience preferred
