Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Lower Acuity Cardiac)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Weekdays and some weekends | Rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a lower acuity cardiac PCU/stepdown setting with an estimated patient ratio of 1:3
• Monitor and interpret telemetry for assigned patients
• Perform IV insertions and manage IV therapy as required
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity level as needed
• Document all patient care activities accurately using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated IV start proficiency required
• Telemetry monitoring skills required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac nursing experience strongly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or stepdown environment
