Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
- Float within the OB service line, including Antenatal, Postpartum, and Well-Baby Nursery, as needed
- Float to Med/Surg as required, consistent with the critical access hospital model and 25-bed facility needs
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner electronic health records
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and maintain flexibility to perform multiple duties throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Current PALS certification (AHA or ARC) or ENPC
- Current NRP certification
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, or SANE certification
- Experience working in a critical access or small rural hospital setting
- Proficiency with Cerner charting system
