CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care as an imaging technologist in a Computed Tomography setting
• Perform CT exams and procedures with minimal supervision under the direction of a radiologist
• Administer ionizing radiation to achieve adequate diagnostic image quality
• Adhere to ALARA guidelines and all applicable regulatory requirements for safe and appropriate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with clinical team members

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited school of Radiology
• Active Illinois Radiology License (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
• IEMA license in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine
• Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Strong interpersonal, communication, computer, and analytical skills with attention to detail

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Graduate of a CT certification program
• Active CT certification through ARRT or equivalent credentialing body
