Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Float between departments, units, and facilities as operationally required
- Complete required EMR documentation accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; must hold both Kansas and Missouri licensure or a compact license valid in both states at time of submission
- Minimum of 18 months of relevant RN experience
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR (test-out option or completion of EPIC training module required prior to start)
- Completion of infusion pump and glucometer training prior to start date
- Ability to fulfill the full terms of a signed contract agreement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit environment
- Experience working in a travel nursing capacity with familiarity of compliance-driven onboarding processes
