Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures including craniotomies and orthopedic surgeries
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient acuity and unit needs
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members during day shift operations
- Respond to on-call assignments within a 30-minute response time as required
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system (Meditech)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Ability to fulfill on-call requirements with a 30-minute response time
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Flexibility with scheduling and hours
- Calm under pressure with a strong focus on patient experience
