Travel OB Surgical Tech – LDRP

Anchorage, AK

Contract – Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide surgical tech support in an LDRP unit with 7 beds, working alongside RNs in a variable acuity environment
- Scrub and assist with procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligation, vaginal repair, and hysterectomy
- Operate and manage GE equipment and document patient care using EPIC
- Maintain readiness to float to other units as needed when census is low
- Adhere to scheduling requirements as needed to meet unit staffing demands
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in a labor and delivery setting
- Active BLS certification required
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with OB/GYN patient populations
- Familiarity with EPIC documentation system
- Experience working with GE obstetric equipment
