Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:15 AM – 6:45 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy via IV push, continuous infusion, and oral routes in an acute care oncology setting
• Perform body fluid handling post-chemotherapy and manage/dispose of cytotoxic spills
• Monitor patients receiving chemotherapy and recognize and communicate abnormal lab values
• Access and manage ports, PICC lines, and central lines including blood draws and care
• Administer blood/blood products, coagulation factors, antifungals, and antivirals via IV infusion
• Float within scope as needed to meet unit and facility staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license in hand or actively in the application process at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Proficiency with chemotherapy administration and IV therapy/infusion skills as outlined in the position
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross (RQI cards not accepted)
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Prior experience in an acute care oncology unit
• Familiarity with Magnet facility standards and Level I trauma center environments
