Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Acute Leukemia & Hematology)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients primarily diagnosed with acute leukemia and hematological conditions
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias, utilizing Rapid Response Teams as appropriate
• Administer blood products, manage IV therapy, and perform phlebotomy including central line blood draws
• Manage and maintain peripheral lines, PICC lines, and feeding tubes
• Implement and uphold strict infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention measures
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Valid RN compact or state license in hand at time of submission
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in MS/Telemetry skills including telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with EPIC computerized charting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ONS Chemotherapy Certification (not required)
• NIHSS certification
• Prior travel nursing experience
