Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)

Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations for patients across a high-volume acute care setting with approximately 250 active consults per day
• Deliver OT treatments with a typical caseload of 8–10 patients per day
• Work independently with a high degree of accountability in care planning and patient management
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address the needs of a diverse patient population across multiple diagnosis groups
• Utilize general acute care DME and document within a Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of acute care hospital occupational therapy experience
• Active Kansas (KS) OT licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and strong accountability
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of acute care practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma experience in an acute care setting
• Comprehensive stroke experience
