Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a long-term care facility
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient health status and document observations accurately
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update care plans
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
- Support patients with daily activities and promote comfort
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Experience in long-term care or similar healthcare settings preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a long-term care (LTCH) setting
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to adapt to a rotating shift schedule
