Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Projected Start: June 29, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit serving a large cardiac population across Telemetry and PCU floors
- Monitor and assess patients utilizing telemetry equipment and EMR systems (Meditech / CPN)
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 on day shift, collaborating with CNAs and fellow RNs
- Float to inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units as needed
- Perform unit-specific procedures for patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry hospital experience (2 years preferred)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Willingness and ability to float to all inpatient units as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong Telemetry background with demonstrated cardiac care competency
- Chemotherapy Certification (candidates with this credential may be scheduled on the Oncology unit)
- Experience caring for patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions
