Travel - First Assist CVOR CST

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | On-call rotation including after hours and weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Perform first assist duties in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment supporting open-heart procedures
- Perform independent vein procurement using the Maquet Hemopro 2 system
- Assist with procedures including CABG, valve surgeries, TAVR standby, laser lead standby, thoracic robotic-assisted, and general emergent open-heart procedures
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 3-bed CVOR unit
- Float to the main OR as needed
- Participate in rotating weekend on-call coverage
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Demonstrated competency and independence in vein harvesting using the Maquet Hemopro 2 system
- Experience in open-heart surgical procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with thoracic robotic-assisted procedures
- Familiarity with TAVR and laser lead standby protocols
