Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and manage cancer symptom care in an outpatient oncology infusion setting
• Conduct health history assessments, address physician orders, and perform in-office procedures
• Provide patient and family education related to oncology treatment and care plans
• Monitor patients frequently for changes in physical condition and emotional well-being
• Serve as the primary communication liaison between patients and physicians, relaying relevant patient information and feedback
• Apply clinical knowledge, judgment, and decision-making skills to analyze and act on patient care issues in accordance with Cancer Care policies and nursing standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to oncology nursing procedures, quality improvement objectives, and infection control standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient oncology or infusion center environment
• Experience with cancer symptom management and patient triage in an oncology setting
