Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the appropriate care team members
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of resident care
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alaska or compact eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in LTC/SNF environments
