Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | No Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a postpartum/antepartum unit with a 1:4 couplet ratio (3:1 or 4:1, occasionally 2:1 depending on acuity)
- Perform and assist with non-stress tests and hyperemesis management
- Administer and monitor magnesium, heparin drips, and insulin drips
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
- Collaborate with a unit team including charge nurses, fellow RNs, and unit clerks in a fast-paced women's health environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of postpartum or mother-baby nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn Meditech and CPN EMR platforms
- Strong teamwork orientation and effective communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous Labor & Delivery or antepartum nursing experience
- Familiarity with magnesium and heparin drip administration protocols
- Experience working in a high-acuity women's health or perinatal setting
