Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within an Interventional Radiology (IR) unit, including pre- and post-procedure monitoring
- Assist with and support procedures including biopsies, ablations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
- Operate and utilize CT scan and related radiology equipment in accordance with unit protocols
- Document patient information and care accurately using the Meditech Expanse EMR system
- Collaborate with a small unit team and take initiative in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Emergency Department (ED) experience required
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience required
- Proficiency with Meditech Expanse or comparable EMR platform
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Interventional Radiology or procedural nursing setting
- Familiarity with CT scan operations and imaging-guided procedure support
