Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call (PRN Low Census)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with standard nurse-to-patient ratios
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, including participation in rapid response situations
• Administer medications including insulin and manage telemetry monitoring as needed
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope to other like units to meet facility staffing needs as required
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during designated hurricane season months (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or active Compact RN license required prior to start date
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Demonstrated skills in Med/Surg, telemetry, insulin administration, and rapid response
• Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility; locals are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers considered
• Current ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
