Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Manage telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
• Administer blood products and manage IV insulin and heparin protocols
• Perform tracheostomy management and non-invasive airway support including CPAP/BiPAP and oxygen therapy
• Participate in rapid response team activations and deliver PCU/stepdown-level care as needed
• Accurately document patient care and clinical assessments using EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with renal failure management and wound care including wound VAC therapy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working within a staffing ratio of 1:4 in a high-acuity emergency setting
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records documentation
• Prior travel nursing experience with strong compliance and credentialing follow-through
