Contract | Full-Time | Day Shift | Onsite | 8-Hour Days, 36–40 Hours per Week | Start Time between 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during GI and endoscopy procedures in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Perform patient admission, procedural support, and recovery care including moderate sedation administration
• Manage a high-volume caseload of approximately 30–60 cases per day
• Operate and assist with Olympus scopes and a variety of endoscopy supplies and equipment
• Monitor and assess patients pre- and post-procedure, including EKG evaluation
• May be required to float to additional facilities within the health system

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of GI Lab, Endoscopy, or PACU experience; admission and recovery experience required
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Must pass an EKG competency test with a score of 80% or higher prior to starting
• Minimum background in Med/Surg Telemetry; GI or pre/post-op experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong procedural nursing background with direct GI Lab and endoscopy experience highly preferred
• Experience with moderate sedation in a procedural setting
• Familiarity with Olympus scopes and common endoscopy equipment manufacturers
