Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with department protocols and physician orders
• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist and physician interpretation
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients appropriately, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging data within the facility's systems
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of imaging results

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• Active ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or equivalent credential
• Proficiency in performing general and/or vascular ultrasound examinations
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a Friday through Sunday schedule
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience in an acute-care hospital setting
• Experience with a high-volume, fast-paced radiology or imaging department
• Familiarity with multiple ultrasound modalities including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular
