Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Projected Start: May 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU setting with patient ratios of primarily 2:1, with some 1:1 and 3:1 assignments
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG systems
• Document all patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to the ICU overflow unit as needed per facility floating policy
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurse technicians to deliver high-quality critical care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Tennessee
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Meditech or comparable electronic health record documentation system
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills essential for high-acuity patient management
• Must adhere to facility dress code: Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Arctic Sun temperature management systems and Continuous EEG monitoring
• Background in high-acuity critical care with exposure to expanding service lines and complex patient populations
• Familiarity with central line and arterial line placement procedures in an ICU environment
