Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures including General Surgery, Total Joints, Spine, Urology, Endoscopy, Cystoscopy, and GYN
- Perform on-call duties, typically one day per week and approximately every fifth weekend based on staffing levels
- Maintain readiness to respond to the facility within 30 minutes while on-call
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and supplies in the operating room
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure safe and efficient patient care throughout procedures
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of surgical technician experience
- Experience with General Surgery, Total Joints (MAKO), Spine (Globus), Urology, Endoscopy, Cystoscopy, and GYN procedures
- Ability to respond to the facility within 30 minutes while on-call
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel assignment experience preferred
- Familiarity with MAKO robotic system for Total Joint procedures and Globus instrumentation for Spine cases
