Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 36 hours per week, 3x12 Midshifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM) | Call requirement: up to 6 weekend and 6 weeknight calls within a 6-week scheduling period

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures within a Level 2 Trauma operating room environment
• Perform competently in orthopedic total joint cases, neuro spine and craniotomy procedures, vascular surgery, and robotic surgery
• Maintain a 1:1 scrub-to-surgeon ratio throughout surgical cases
• Adhere to call requirements including weekend and weeknight on-call rotations as scheduled
• Support a 16-room operating room department with a high volume and varied surgical caseload

Required Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the NBSTSA, or Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) through the NCCT
• Demonstrated competency in orthopedic total joint, neuro spine and craniotomy, vascular, and robotic surgical cases
• Ability to fulfill call obligations including up to 6 weekend and 6 weeknight calls per 6-week scheduling period
• Availability for 12-hour midshift schedule (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technician experience preferred
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties including general surgery, trauma surgery, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, and urology
