Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM) | Rotating weekends | On-call required (up to 2 call shifts per month, 7a–7p or 7p–7a Saturday or Sunday) | Holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist across a full range of surgical specialties including Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (craniotomy, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN
- Operate within a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center environment across 21 OR suites
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage across like units as required
- Participate in on-call shifts and rotating weekend coverage as assigned
- Utilize EPIC for surgical charting and documentation
- Adhere to all facility protocols including radiation safety requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Active NBSTSA certification required (NCCT not accepted)
- Current BLS certification required
- Level I trauma experience required
- Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Neuro cases including spines and craniotomies
- Experience with ENT flap procedures
- Robotic surgery experience, specifically with the Da Vinci Xi system
