Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services with a focus on pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations
- Perform assessments, treatments, and monitoring in alignment with facility protocols and scope of practice
- Operate and document within an Epic electronic health records system
- Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a high-acuity teaching hospital environment
- May be required to float within scope of practice to meet unit needs based on experience
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) certification through the NBRC
- Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license — must be in hand at time of start
- Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Hands-on experience with pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience charting in Epic electronic health records
- Background working in a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma, or teaching hospital environment
