Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Every other weekend required | Projected Start: 06/24/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 46-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Perform and interpret telemetry monitoring and EKG readings
• Manage and assess patients post-Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and post-dialysis
• Operate unit equipment including telemetry boxes, IV pumps, PCA pumps, and vital signs machines
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse electronic health record system
• Float as needed to post-surgical Med/Surg or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for telemetry overflow coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing; compact license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Post-Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) experience required
• BLS certification required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be recertified annually)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound VAC, surgical drains, and central lines
• Experience with CPAP management, port access, and blood transfusions
• Familiarity with paracentesis procedures and post-dialysis patient assessment
